At a young age, Kyle felt the calling of the Lord to the ministry to preach the gospel. Straight out of High school, Kyle attended Nyack College for Pastoral Counseling and theological studies. Kyle went on to achieve his associates degree in 2006. From there, he received a bachelors degree in 2009 and then his masters degree in 2012. Kyle is now a young pastor who leads a church in the Greater township of Brookhaven alongside his bride for 12 years, Rachel. Specifically in the community of East Patchogue, Kyle is the point pastor of Axis Church Patchogue. Previous to his role as the point pastor of Axis Patchogue, Kyle served as the founder and senior pastor of an independent church called Safe House ministries for four years. In 2017, Kyle became a credentialed pastor with the Assemblies of God. Kyle, his wife and the Safe House Congregation were asked by his Pastor, Anthony Pelella, the Assemblies of God and most of all, God to merger and revitalize Calvary Family Assembly, presently known as Axis Church Patchogue. Now for 3 years, with the help of the Lord, Pastor Kyle now leads a healthy, disciple-making church. Pastor Kyle and Rachel are both humbled and honored to take on the responsibility of changing lives with the gospel and promoting God’s kingdom throughout the community. Pastor Kyle loves his community and is known for his great strides of evangelistic endeavors and community outreach. Kyle is also nationally and globally recognized as one of the worlds top Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors. In 2018, Kyle was ranked as the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federations #2 ranked Brown belt in the world. Pastor Kyle a.k.a “Rolling Rev” is a two time LBJJF world champion who was able to win his world titles back-to-back in 2017 & 2018. Kyle is 6 years undefeated winning multiple titles while representing Jesus Christ on and off the mats. On October 15th, after 8 years of dedication & studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as 23 collective years of traditional martial arts, Kyle was promoted to the prestigious level of the Black belt. Kyle is blessed and honored to share his journey with as many people as possible. He enjoys sharing how God has been faithful through every trial and pressing forward speaks volumes of our love for Jesus Christ.

Rachel Watkins is a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a songwriter.  She was raised in the church all her life and at age 10 her confession to serve God became the official grounds of her devotion to the Lord. 

As a Daughter of a Pastor, Rachel learned at an early age the importance of serving In the church, and by doing so we please God by serving others.  As an evangelist, her father traveled extensively preaching at crusades and revivals throughout Puerto Rico and various states, Rachel was right there with him. Her mother cultivated both her singing and bilingual abilities at the age of five. To this day those seeds sown have matured to much fruit and usefulness in the Kingdom.

This experience has helped her presently as she serves alongside her husband Pastor Kyle Watkins for now eight years.  Rachel leads the worship team and serves as the leader of the children's church ministry.  Her passion is to see those that she serves to find their passion and talents so that they can be all that God has designed for them to be.  Psalms, 139:14 says, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well”.

Michael has been saved for 23 Years. Accepting God into his life in 1998. Michael is a husband, 7 years married with 2 beautiful children. He is currently enrolled at Global University studying Biblical Theology. Michael served as an assistant youth minister and lead youth minister in previous ministries. He has served as the Axis Experience Leader along side Pastor Kyle for 2 years. Michael has adopted a saying that he lives by  "If in life's journey I am able to help someone see and choose Jesus. Then my living has not been in vain. Be the reason someone chooses Jesus!"
